    Getting Started

    Supported files and image requirements

Find the image formats and minimum dimensions accepted by Vibe3D, and understand how exported design views differ from native CAD and 3D files.

    At a glance

The standard scene uploader accepts JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Both width and height must be at least 512 pixels. Export a view and upload the resulting image; the standard uploader does not open native CAD or 3D files.

    Which files can I upload?

    Input Standard scene uploader
    JPG or JPEG image Accepted
    PNG image Accepted
    WebP image Accepted
Native SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Blender, or CAD file Export an image first
PDF, TIFF, HEIC, SVG, or other image/document format Convert or export to JPG, PNG, or WebP first

Changing the filename extension is not a conversion. Open the source in an application that can export a genuine supported image. For a PDF drawing, export the relevant page or view as an image, then check that the intended design is readable.

What image size should I use?

The standard upload flow requires at least 512 pixels in both dimensions. A 1200 × 400 image is too short even though its width is large enough. Check the width and height in your image's properties before uploading.

Use a clear export with enough detail to distinguish important elements. Increasing the pixel count of a blurry image does not restore missing information. Re-export from the design application where possible.

Large images may be resized or compressed during upload. Do not treat a particular input size as a promise of matching output dimensions or pixel-perfect cropping. Keep your original, inspect the uploaded scene, and check the downloaded image properties if your delivery has a required resolution.

Can I use my modeling software?

You can use images exported from SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Archicad, Blender, 3ds Max, Vectorworks, and Chief Architect. The browser image workflow does not require Vibe3D to open those programs' native project files.

Choose a model view, make the important geometry and materials visible, and export or capture the image. Follow the software's image-export controls rather than uploading .skp, .rvt, .3dm, .blend, or .dwg to the scene uploader. See the separate SketchUp and Revit walkthroughs for practical examples.

    What about existing rendered images?

Rendered JPG, PNG, or WebP images from Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, D5 Render, Twinmotion, Corona, or Blender can be used as images. This does not transfer the renderer's lights, materials, camera path, or editable 3D scene into Vibe3D.

If the image is already a render and needs refinement, start with Enhance. If it is a model viewport that needs an initial visualization, use Render.

    My image is rejected

Check the real file format, both dimensions, and whether the image opens locally. Re-export a fresh supported image if the file is damaged. For more help, see upload troubleshooting.
